Craig J. Mohnacky, DVM, has provided compassionate veterinary care in San Diego County for more than 40 years through his three Mohnacky Animal Hospitals in North Countyā€”Carlsbad, Escondido, and Vista. In 2013, Dr. Mohnacky founded the Helping Paws Foundation after witnessing active-duty military members, Veterans, and others struggle to afford essential veterinary care. Determined to prevent heartbreaking outcomes such as pet surrender or economic euthanasia, he created the Foundation to remove financial barriers to care. Through Helping Paws, Dr. Mohnacky and his dedicated team have proudly given back to the military and Veteran community by helping families stay together with the pets they love.
